How do I unsubscribe from Group Emails?


For Students or Alumni who no longer wish to receive emails sent to groups that they are categorized with, please follow these instructions to Unsubscribe from the email:

Users that wish to be Unsubscribed from Group emails can follow these instructions to do so:


  1. From your email, click on your apps grid that is located beside of your name in the upper right-hand corner

  2. From the grid, look for the icon labeled “Groups” and then click on it

  3. From there, click on the link that says “My Groups”

  4. Select the group you wish to “unsubscribe” from 

  5. From there, find and select the “My Settings” icon and then the “Membership and Email Settings” under that drop down

  6. Lastly, open that setting and find the drop down box in the middle of the onscreen prompt that is most likely set to “Send me an email for every new message (about 1 per day)” and then change it to “Don’t send email updates”. Once you have done that, simply click “OK” and you will have successfully “unsubscribed” from that group
